GOLD AT NATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS 2009
At the 2009 New Zealand Design Awards Allpress won gold in the retail design category. DE Group’s design department and manufacturing division were key suppliers to this retail environment which follows on from their success in 2003 where they achieved highly commended for the Allpress café in Browns Lane.
Working closely with the client, the design team at DE Group helped to develop his vision into a spatial and sculpturally successful environment, cleverly moulding the cabinetry elements into a tight and difficult space while at the same time accommodating the practical requirements of a working retail experience.
